This is regularly voted Vancouver’s most popular restaurant so advance reservations are the only way to get in the door. It’s an intimate, very upscale room on two levels where presentation of food is a painstaking performance. Service is very attentive but such performances sometimes demand both a wait .... and an encore. Save room for dessert. Owner John Bishop is the consummate host and often caters to a star-studded cast of patrons.

At earls, we believe that every customer should be treated like an honoured guest, and we encourage everyone who works at earls to go beyond customer expectations. We believe the details make the difference. We'd rather spend a little more time making our soups and pastries from scratch than to cut corners by using processed food. And we'd rather travel the world to discover and be inspired by new tastes and textures than just to read about them in a book. So that's exactly what we decided to do. It may seem like a lot of effort, but we think it sets us apart from the competition. And our customers are worth it.

Now, with over 27 locations in BC, the Greater Toronto Area, and Washington State, we are considered trend setters in creating unique, often copied, food and beverage items. A big reason for our success is Executive Chef Jim Romer, who has been with us since the beginning and who ensures that our menus always reflect our commitment to serving affordably priced, high quality, familiar foods with unique twists. Another reason is our décor. While each Milestone’s location is designed to reflect local icons and neighbourhood themes, we make sure that each interior is stylishly rich in wood and comfort, yet provides an atmosphere of high energy and fun.
